Looking for Speakers: How to Attract, Hire, and Retain Top Talent

Together with Human Resources Plus, Inc., we are a mission to help Colorado employers attract, hire, and retain the best employees. Colorado has the lowest unemployment rate in the country according to the 2017 Bureau of Labor Statistics with a 2.3% rate (May, 2017). This can present a significant challenge for employers. With your expertise, and ours, we would like to invite you or one of your company representatives to be on a panel discussion to share your success stories...ideas on attracting, hiring, onboarding, and/or retaining the best employees. Selected panel members will receive free promotion (and hopefully publicity) for their company.

We are seeking six companies who would be willing to share their success stories in a panel discussion - speak 10 minutes on a particular topic that addresses anything such as attracting, hiring, onboarding, and/or retaining employees. For example, The VOICE Customer Service Training will be presenting tips on how an exceptional internal customer service culture can help in the hiring and onboarding process, to retaining employees. Rebecca Page, SPHR, SHRM-SCP of Human Resources Plus, Inc, will discuss the important process of onboarding, as 79% of new employees know after completing the onboarding process and first day of orientation whether they will stay or continue looking for another place to work.

Panel speakers will receive the following benefits for sharing their expertise:
• Promotion and publicity
• Free event tickets
• Glean valuable information from other subject matter experts

Our goal is to attract 50-100 business people in the community to this event.

Our promotion for our event will include the following:
• Social media marketing
• Promotional flyers/invitations
• Email marketing to Human Resources Plus, Inc. and The VOICE Customer Service Training database and network
• Pre-event publicity in the form of media releases with the hopes of media coverage the day of our event

There is no cost for the selected panel speakers. The event dates for which we are looking for a venue is Wednesday, September 20, 27, or October 4. It will be an all-morning event 8:30 – 11 a.m. with panel members arriving by 8 a.m. Each panel member will have a 10 minute presentation. A/V equipment will be available for PowerPoint Shows. At the end of the panel discussion, an MC will field Q & A from the audience to ask follow up questions. There will also be networking time and breakout groups.

Customer Service Training

Periodically, within the metro Denver, Colorado area, we do public customer service training workshops. These half-day customer service training workshops consist of 10-20 attendees. Workshops are typically held on Wednesdays.
